Tropical Past and Future at The Last Call

For 2024’s initial gathering, TP&F teams up with Cara Bella Presents and transitions to an extended 7.5-hour format in a new establishment, The Last Call in Williamsburg. The Last Call is a cozy, down home club with a super deluxe Hi-Fi analog sound system, featuring both an intimate dance floor and comfortable seating to absorb the music in all its facets. It’s a perfect setting for the TP&F ethos, and you can expect to hear an incredibly deep arsenal of music that will be presented from happy hour until crazy hour.

2024’s premier event on March 8 will features a significant collaboration to not only honor International Women’s Day, but the up-and-coming DJ collective Discolocas. Curated by Loly Roots and La Lin for the last several years, Discolocas has organized and fostered a growing gathering of vinyl selectahs, specifically with a mission to empower women through music, and connected via this all-important medium. The collective has made waves throughout New York, the greater East Coast and Colombia, where they have filled nightlife spaces with a much needed and important musical perspective and expertise.
